The tan Salt-Water was the first ever Salt-Water to come out of the Hoy workshop back in 1944. Over 75 years later and this iconic sandal design lives on. It is a simple, versatile classic and looks lovely on all skin tones. The tan Original Salt-Water Sandal has our signature hand stitched sole and water resistant plaited leather upper. All Salt-Waters come with rust proof buckles, can be worn in the water and can be handwashed with a gentle detergent. They go from childrens all the way through to adult sizes.
The Original is a roomy sandal and fits comfortably wide. Before you put them on for the first time, stretch out the toe straps and gently bend the sole to ease. Best fitted with toes behind the stitch line. Do not oversize for children with the hope they will last longer - you do not want anyone tripping up!?
